Holiday Infusions and Cocktails
4x Vanilla Tito’s
1 liter Tito’s Vodka
4 vanilla beans
With a sharp knife cut a slit 1/4 of an inch from the top of the beans to a 1/4 of an inch from the bottom of the beans.
Soak beans in vodka for one week. Remove beans. This vanilla vodka will have a much more intense flavor than most vanilla vodkas you run across.
Apple Peppermint Tito’s
1 liter of Tito’s Vodka
1 red apple peeled and cored
2 red and white candy canes (no other colors as this will cloud the vodka)
Soak apples and candy canes for 2 weeks in vodka, candy canes will dissolve fully and the vodka will take on a bright reddish-pink glow. Remove apples.
1 liter of Tito’s vodka
1 orange washed thoroughly
3 cinnamon sticks
8 raw cranberries
cut cranberries in half, cut orange into 1/4 thick wheels, add all ingredients to vodka and let rest for 2 weeks the sugar from the orange will interact with the cranberries and have a nice effect. Remove ingredients and serve!
Chocolate Tito’s suspension
1 liter of Titos vodka
8 silver dollar sized holiday milk chocolate coins
Remove wrappers from coins and crumble them into small pieces. Immerse in vodka and let rest for one week, shaking the vodka vigorously once a day. Scoop out remaining crumbles. Do not filter this vodka, it is a suspension rather than an infusion and if you filter out the dissolved chocolate you will lose most of the flavor.
