The nonprofit’s Chicago chapter has one wish for their birthday, and that’s to raise money for those affected by breast cancer in their community.
After crossing the Race for the Cure finish line, join us at Komen Club 21 for a bit of well-deserved rest and relaxation (and a specialty cocktail mixed with Tito’s Handmade Vodka).
Race attendees and their teams can join the fun at Komen Club 21 by fundraising or donating $180—the typical cost for a mammogram—which will help make the biggest impact against breast cancer. Each donation or fundraiser for Komen Club 21 will support breast cancer screenings, treatment, and education programs throughout the Chicago community.
As a birthday gift to the Chicago chapter, Tito's is also matching all donations, up to $10,000, leading up to, during, and after the Mother's Day race.
If you’re interested in donating or running the race and attending Komen Club 21, the registration and donation drive info is available on the Susan G. Komen Chicago site, and will be open until race day on May 13. To learn more about the research Susan G. Komen does around the world, and to help take action against breast cancer, visit their website or check them out on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
