Tito’s Handmade Vodka is supporting Direct Relief as they provide medical supplies and resources to those impacted by Hurricane Laura as well as resources to healthcare agencies and first responders in wildfire-affected communities across California.
In addition to an initial donation of $25,000 to Direct Relief, Tito’s will match all donations up to $25,000 for recovery efforts towards both Hurricane Laura and California wildfire relief. Direct Relief is responding to the hurricane that hit landfall in Louisiana. The organization has staged caches of critically needed medication with health centers and clinics in the storm's path, focusing on Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas, and is preparing additional infusions of support based on demand.
Additionally, Direct Relief is responding to a series of devastating fires that have quickly spread throughout its home state of California. The humanitarian organization maintains a standing inventory of fire-specific supplies, including several hundred thousand N-95 masks, medical supplies, and resources to provide backup power to affected community health centers.
